Later is developed and operated by Later Team (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This document explains how information is handled when you use the Later mobile application and related services.
We designed Later with a minimal-data approach. The app focuses on transforming user-provided images into seasonal variations using internal AI systems, without building user profiles or tracking identity.
This Privacy Notice applies to all interactions within the Later application, including when you:
· Upload and process images
· Generate seasonal-style variations
· Contact us for support
By accessing or using Later, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Notice.
Later is built around the following privacy principles:
· Image processing is performed internally within our own systems
· No third-party AI services are used at any stage
· We do not sell, rent, or share user data with external parties
· Processing is session-based and temporary
· Users retain full control over their content
All image processing is performed on infrastructure directly controlled by Later Team and is not transmitted to external AI providers, APIs, or third-party platforms.
Images are collected only when the user actively selects and uploads them within the app interface.
When you use Later, you may upload a photo (for example, a landscape scene). This image is:
· Used solely to generate a transformed seasonal version
· Not analyzed for identity or personal attributes
· Not used to train AI models
· Not stored permanently
To ensure the app functions properly, limited technical data may be processed, such as:
· Device type and system version
· Basic operational logs (e.g., crash diagnostics)
This data is not used to identify individuals and is not linked to uploaded images.
We intentionally avoid collecting sensitive or unnecessary information. Specifically, Later does not:
· Require account registration
· Collect names, emails, or contact lists within the app
· Track precise location
· Perform behavioral profiling or analytics tracking
· Extract, analyze, or store facial recognition data
All data handling is strictly limited to delivering the app’s core functionality:
· Uploaded images are processed to generate seasonal variations (e.g., spring, summer, autumn, winter styles)
· Images are handled as complete visual inputs; no object-level or identity-level analysis is performed
· Results are generated and returned to the user within the same session
We do not use your data for:
· Advertising
· User profiling
· AI training
· Any secondary or unrelated purposes
By uploading an image, the user explicitly initiates the processing required to generate the requested result.
Later follows a temporary processing model:
· Images exist only during active processing. As no face data is collected or stored, there is no retention of face data
· Once the result is generated, original and processed data are automatically deleted from our systems within a short time
· We do not maintain long-term storage of user images
We do not share your data with third parties.
Specifically:
· No third-party AI providers are involved
· No external analytics platforms receive your images
· No data is sold, transferred, or disclosed for commercial purposes
Data may only be disclosed if required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal request.
Later does not transmit user data to any external AI systems under any circumstances.
You remain in control of your content at all times:
· You choose which images to upload
· You may stop using the app at any time
· Since we do not retain images, deletion requests are typically unnecessary
If you contact us, we will respond to reasonable privacy-related inquiries.
Later does not collect or extract any face data.
Uploaded images may incidentally contain human faces, but such visual elements are not treated as face data by the system:
· it is not analyzed, identified, or compared
· no facial recognition or biometric processing is performed
· no facial templates, embeddings, or identifiers are created
· it is not used for tracking, profiling, or any secondary purpose
Faces are treated only as part of the overall visual content required to produce the transformation.
Because no face data is collected:
· no face data is shared with any third parties
· no face data is stored
· no face data retention occurs
Later is intended for users aged 17 and above.
We do not knowingly collect or process data from children under this age threshold. If such data is identified, it will be promptly removed.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data during processing, including:
· Secure transmission channels
· Controlled processing environments
· Temporary data isolation
While no system is completely secure, we continuously improve our safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last revised” date. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

By using Later and uploading images, you provide explicit consent for the processing necessary to generate the requested seasonal transformations.
· Uploading an image constitutes your voluntary and informed authorization for the app to temporarily process the visual content.
· You understand that the image is processed only within Later Team’s controlled systems, and is not shared with any external AI service or third party.
· You acknowledge that the app does not collect personal identifiers, facial data, or any other sensitive information, and the uploaded images will be automatically deleted after processing.
· You may withdraw your consent at any time by stopping use of the app and not uploading further images.
